THE GALLERIA BORGHESE HAS A SPECIAL SOUND
Galleria Borghese launches its own LogoSound, a succession of sounds in perfect harmony with each other that expresses, like a visual logo, the identity and essence of the museum.
Galleria Borghese’s LogoSound was created by Federico Longo, an internationally renowned composer and conductor, who was inspired by the concepts of Harmony, Beauty, Uniqueness and the Essence of Form. All concepts that, through sound, have found deep and instantaneous communication, thus expressing the summa of values that are proper to the Galleria Borghese.
These concepts are entrusted to a melody that uses twice the ascending octave jump as a lyrical momentum. “Making melody with the octave jump, that is, with the same note repeated at two different pitches, means finding the melodic element in the maximum essential form. The same melodic momentum is reduced first in an interval of right fifth ascending and, subsequently, in an interval of major third, this time descending, becoming one and realizing the union of the vertical and horizontal dimension” explains Federico Longo on the LogoSound created by him.
