WHAT AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS! THE NEW FAMILY WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON
This year, the museum offers families Christmas-themed workshop visits. The visits are dedicated to narrating stories, an activity cherished by children during this time of year. A journey in search of stories and myths through the narration of tales depicted in the Borghese Collection’s large statue groups and ceiling paintings.
Young visitors will also be invited to observe the technical secrets of sculptures and how artists have overcome the limits imposed by the nature of marble. The expressiveness of the faces, poses, and gestures of the statues contributes to stimulating children’s powers of observation and understanding the myths, stories, and legends associated with them.
The visit will start and end in the entrance hall, where children can reenact the story that has touched them the most in a kind of living tableau.
Reservation is mandatory by clicking on BUY or by calling the number +39 06 32810. Audience: Children aged 5 to 11. Duration of the visit: 80 minutes. Visits schedule: during the Christmas holiday period, from December 8th to January 7th at 11:00 AM. Costs: €5 per child and per accompanying adult, in addition to the ticket cost.
