LET’S REREAD THE STORIES! THE NEW WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN AT THE GALLERIA BORGHESE

Don’t miss Let’s reread the stories! organized by the Museum’s educational service.
The itinerary proposes the reading of some famous sculptures from the Borghese collection: from Bernini’s mythological groups to Caravaggio’s Bacchus, from the hero David to the vexatious Venus, always starting with the story or myth and then dwelling on the observation of expressions and moods, useful for the child to recognize those already known to him and as input for the start of the stories to be told.
The study of the emotions of the great sculptures, those of Bernini but also Canova’s Paolina Borghese, or the Roman sculptures, also offers the cue to show children how artists were technically able to overcome the limitations of marble and make it ductile to the needs of representation.
The visit, which will take place on the sculpture floor of the museum, will begin and end in the Hall of the Emperors, where children will be invited to recast a story.
The visits are in Italian.
