A drinker

flemish school

Although the painting is mediocre, it was attributed to Micco Spadaro. The work actually seems to be by an anonymous artist inspired by Flemish models. Furrowed by wrinkles and with a look woozy from wine, the man’s face is almost a caricature. The panel can be dated to the beginning of the 17th century.
