UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. THE NEW PATH FOR CHILDREN DEDICATED TO RUBENS’S EXHIBITION
On the occasion of the exhibition ” The touch of Pygmalion. Rubens and sculpture in Rome”, the Educational Service of Galleria Borghese offers an interactive experience for children and their families visiting the museum, aiming to stimulate their observation skills.
Equipped with a small paper telescope, young participants will be encouraged by the facilitator to focus on the expressions and details of the bodies in some of Rubens and Bernini’s works. Within the program, expressive and narrative reprocessing activities will be carried out for one or two of the exhibited works, creating a game of perception and imagination that demonstrates how a detail can change stories.
The visit will take place entirely on the sculpture floor. At the end of the program, participants will have time to continue their visit independently.
