STOREROOM MASTERPIECES: TALES FROM THE BORGHESE GALLERY
The museum’s storerooms, a special and unique place, are reopening to the public from August. The Borghese Gallery is in fact one of the few museums in the world that has a storeroom conceived as a “second picture gallery”, with 260 paintings displayed over three levels, ordered by school of painting and thematic area, and complete with all the customary exhibition apparatus.
