DISCOVER THE NEW EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE FOR CHILDREN ON THE GIUSEPPE PENONE EXHIBITION: UNIVERSAL GESTURES
We are happy to invite you to participate in a reading path and active perception workshop for children on the Giuseppe Penone exhibition, Universal Gestures: LET’S RE-READ THE STORIES.
The initiative aims to involve children and their families in an educational activity that stimulates curiosity and opens up the emotional and bodily perception of art. Through the contemplation of the works of art by the artist Giuseppe Penone, children will be able to understand the relationship between art and nature, sculpture and garden.
Children will be given the opportunity to listen to the reading of the masterpieces of the collection and to compare them with the tactile and evocative values of the works of the artist. The visit allows the exaltation of the senses, children will be able to touch the leaves and bark of the trees, breathe the art by observing it in the most unusual places and perceive it on a bodily level. Through a deep breathing practice, they will be able to visualize the trace of their breath on a sheet of paper.
Appointment every Saturday and Sunday at 16.00! The duration of the initiative is approximately 80 minutes. The activities will take place between the ground floor and the gardens, where the works of the exhibition are exhibited.
