LIBRARY

The collections of Galleria Borghese Library began with the site’s life as a state museum in the early 20th century. It conserves a patrimony of about 7,000 volumes concerning subjects mostly related to the works in the collection. There are a small number of older publications, many exhibition catalogues and a body of literature on museum education, corresponding to the specific interests of the directors in the past.

The Library is located on the third floor of the building in the Administration Offices and can only be consulted on Monday by appointment writing at ga-bor.biblioteca@cultura.gov.it
