THE BORGHESE GALLERY IS REOPENING TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAY 19 MAY
On Tuesday 19 May the Borghese Gallery is reopening its doors to visitors.
The museum has reorganized its services and spaces and taken all necessary measures to improve the flow of visitors through the gallery and to make their experience pleasant and safe.
The Gallery will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 7pm.
In order to continually monitor the flow of visitors and to ensure social distancing is respected, booking is obligatory for each visiting slot, which, as usual, is two hours, and with a maximum of 80 visitors for each slot. This offers a unique opportunity to admire all the rooms in a pleasantly fluid manner due to the presence of a small number of people.
Museum services such as the ticket office, left luggage and bookshop have been moved to outside the museum, on the left of the building, in order to limit as much as possible the time visitors spend inside.
Tickets can be purchased online from Monday 18 May. Click on BUY. The entrance of the museum is on the right-hand side of the façade.
While inside the museum we ask you to help us make your visit safer by respecting anti-contagion measures: wear a face mask at all times, avoid gathering in groups, maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from others and sanitize your hands frequently using the dispensers provided by the museum.
Members of staff responsible for managing the flow of visitors are available to provide assistance.
